Children in this age group as identified as Toddlers. Children are born curious. They begin to explore the environment around them as soon as they are born. Vikas Preschool’s playgroup age appropriate curriculum plays an important role in helping children continue their exploration.

The first few years of a child’s life are crucial and critical when it comes to be the skill acquisition & brain development. In the playgroup class, the young learners develop their latent language and math skills which is core to successful future learning.

In PG class, the curriculum focuses on pre-langugae, pre-math skills and social skills.
The NEP guidelines are followed against admission criteria at Vikas Preschool.
For the objective of Settlement , Teachers executes a home language ‘or’ the local language and then gradually the teacher switches to a Sandwich method ( local language to English language).
Playgroup learning is classified into 2 categories below: 1) Developmental Goals : ( Development of Skills) and 2)Academic Learning Goals a)) Language developments skills : i)Language cognition ii)Narrative skills iii)Patterning and Letter Knowledge iv)Print Motivation and Print Awareness v)Vocabulary and Phonoloigical Awareness.

The perfect age for playgroup admission is one year prior to Nursery varying from state to state. The child from 2 years to 3 years.
